Managing Unconscious Bias

Course Overview
Unconscious bias can lead to discrimination, which is not tolerated in the workplace. Therefore, it is important for staff members to recognise and deal with their own unconscious biases so that they do not influence their behaviours and decisions at work.

This course has therefore been developed to help learners understand what unconscious bias is and how they can actively address it.

• Strategies for address bias, including:

o Identifying biases;
o Stretching out of the comfort zone;
